What’s Hybrid Training?
- Matt sends you programming based on your goals, abilities, experience, etc.
- You send him your numbers, times, and/or videos of your lifts/performance for him to review your technique/form, and make adjustments.
- 3-4 days of programming, with options to meet in person 1-2 days.

Strength Accessory (Up to 5 People per Cycle)
- Emphasis: Compound Movements
- Strict Press

- 12 week minimum
- 3 blocks, lasting 4 weeks

“As a Strength and Conditioning Coach, I am very interested in the opportunity to work with the members of Cross Fit Harrisonburg. Since I’ve started coaching, I have worked hard to become a better professional, leader, and motivator of all athletes while also continuing to explore new training methods to enhance the training modalities in order to create a better training experience. As someone who loves coaching and strength training, I would seize the opportunity to help you reach your full potential.
My time as a graduate assistant at Saint Francis University, Assistant Strength Coach at American University, Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Franklin Pierce University, Assistant Strength Coach at Army West Point, and current Associate Strength Coach at James Madison University have prepared me to work with a wide range of athletes. In addition to this, I continue to challenge myself by completing courses and certifications related to all aspects of training. .
When working with me, I will bring my knowledge of assessment, strength training, nutrition, conditioning, and stress management to maximize your ability to achieve your goals.
In a program you can expect a comprehensive 4-5 Day layout that is designed to meet your desired goals. Each client will schedule a time to meet in person and complete an assessment session in order to help properly guide training. Following this, your program will be designed. It will include individualized soft tissue work, mobility, movement prep, lifting, and conditioning for those who potentially desire it.
We are currently offering programs that specialize in: Increasing Relative Strength (With and Without Olympic Lifting), Olympic Lifting Focused, Competition Prep, and Weekend Warrior ( I want to move well, move often, and most importantly have fun).”
