Our workouts might be varied but Mayhem Programming follows a carefully planned program to yield the best results for its athletes.
We also understand that every athlete is different so we tailor our workouts to meet your needs. Some of our members want to be or even are competitors. Some are just concerned with getting a good sweat each day. Others are brand new – have never touched a barbell before. Some are overcoming a major life event such as childbirth. Some of us are 18. Some are 68. We aren’t all doing the exact same workout, but we are working out together under the supervision of excellent coaching and programming modifications. We have a competitor’s workout option, a daily “sweat” option, a strength class, olympic lifting, and a bootcamp class. We can tailor your workouts to make sure you’re in the right class and we can further tailor that workout to make sure you’re making progress – not setbacks. Someone recovering from childbirth won’t be encouraged to do the same workout as the competitor beside them, and the coach will always have a proper movement to give each individual who needs something different.
We have arguably the best coaches in the Valley here at CFH. We have Level 1 and 2 CrossFit coaches, a Sports Medicine Coach – Jackson- (who is our teen head coach) contracted out of Sentara who also works as an athletic trainer for our local high schools in the evenings. Coach Matt is JMU’s baseball strength and conditioning coach and also one of our morning coaches here at the box. We even have a Games athlete – Becca – fourth place finisher! – as one of our main evening coaches. All of our coaches – Steph, Dave, and Warren, Lucy, Shanna, Nichole, Michael – have all been coaching and competing in the Valley for over ten+ years; and our OLY coaches – Maria, Ben, and Caleb- are some of the top OLY lifters in the area – Maria is even a National’s competitor. The number of degrees, certifications, experience, skill, and prestige in this lineup wouldn’t even be able to fit on this page!!

All Inclusive 12-Week Transformation Package:
Our 12 Week Transformation Package sets you up for SUCCESS. You get four personal training sessions (or OnRamp sessions), to teach you all you need to know about getting started with us. From nutrition to exercise movements, we work with you step-by-step at your pace to get you ready for your journey with us.
You also receive monthly InBody scans & progress assessments, monthly goal setting sessions, unlimited group fitness classes (CrossFit, Bootcamp, FB2, Barbell Club), open gym daily, monthly yoga access, access to exclusive HSN App, individualized nutrition plan, four in-person meetings with a nutrition coach, weekly virtual check-ins with a nutrition coach.
CrossFit is an effective fitness regimen for EVERYONE due to its emphasis on functional movements and varied workouts, which target multiple muscle groups and enhance overall strength, endurance, and flexibility. Additionally, the supportive community aspect of CrossFit fosters motivation, accountability, and camaraderie, creating an environment that encourages individuals to push their limits and achieve their fitness goals.
Our StrongFigure Bootcamp implements High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) throughout our workouts. HIIT is highly effective for achieving fitness and health goals due to its ability to maximize calorie burn and improve cardiovascular fitness in a shorter period of time. The combination of intense bursts of exercise followed by short recovery periods not only enhances fat burning and boosts metabolism but also improves endurance, builds lean muscle mass, and promotes overall cardiovascular health.
The FB2 program, which combines bodybuilding and functional fitness, is highly effective in improving fitness performance and aesthetic goals because it integrates the principles of hypertrophy and strength training with functional movements. This dual approach helps build lean muscle mass, enhance strength, and improve overall athletic performance while simultaneously promoting muscle definition, body composition improvements, and a sculpted physique, making it a comprehensive program for achieving both performance and aesthetic goals.
The Barbell Club is your chance to improve your Olympic lifts. We meet twice a week and practice skills and drills to ensure better form, better movement, better technique, and everyone gets better, stronger, lifts.

MyZone Heart Rate Monitoring:
MyZone Heart Rate Monitoring is the most accurate heart rate monitoring system in the business. MyZone is highly effective at achieving health and fitness results because it provides real-time feedback and personalized intensity guidance based on an individual’s heart rate, ensuring optimal training zones are reached for maximum effectiveness. By tracking and analyzing heart rate data, individuals can accurately monitor their effort levels, optimize their workouts, and make informed adjustments to their training intensity, leading to improved cardiovascular fitness, increased calorie burn, and enhanced overall health and fitness outcomes.
Membership Pricing Plans:
Our All-Inclusive 12-Week Transformation Package – You get EVERYTHING plus some. Only for the dedicated, willing to learn, and be coached. $421/mo for 3 months, and then we reassess and transition to either fitness+nutrition, just nutrition, or just fitness.
CrossFit / Bootcamp / FB2 / Barbell Club / Open Gym– $152 per month: Gain unlimited access to CrossFit classes, Strength and Conditioning Bootcamp (SFBC), and Fb2 classes on a month-to-month basis. Experience a diverse range of workouts that will challenge and transform your body.
Bootcamp / Open Gym / FB2 Only – $100 per month: Looking for the flexibility to create your own workout routine? Access our fully equipped gym during designated hours or join our Bootcamp and FB2 classes exclusively.
Day pass to CF – $15: Enjoy a one-time visit to experience a CrossFit class and get a taste of our challenging and effective workouts.
Day pass to SFBC – $10: Dive into our Strength and Conditioning Bootcamp with a single-day pass and engage in a high-intensity training session.
Week pass to CF, Open Gym, and SFBC – $50: Get a comprehensive experience with a week-long pass granting you access to CrossFit classes, Open Gym sessions, and Strength and Conditioning Bootcamp workouts.
Yoga Drop In– $18: Drop in for a yoga class! Classes are (currently) Fridays at 9am and Sundays at 2:30 (please double check!) We also have 5 and 10 punch passes as well as member vs non-member monthly yoga memberships. Please see a coach to get set up with a pass that’s right for you!
CF Punch Pass – $135: Punch your way to fitness with our CF Punch Pass. Get 10 visits to CrossFit classes and enjoy the flexibility of using them at your convenience.
SFBC Punch Pass – $85: Amplify your strength and conditioning journey with our SFBC Punch Pass. Benefit from 10 visits to our Strength and Conditioning Bootcamp classes.
Monthly CF/SFBC Student Rate– $129.82: We offer a discounted rate for students who wish to enhance their fitness while managing their studies. Enjoy unlimited access to both CrossFit and Strength and Conditioning Bootcamp classes with this monthly plan.
