Come do Yoga with Kate at CrossFit Harrisonburg!
We even have childcare available during yoga times!
Kate Roberts, OTD, RYT200
Kate is a lifelong athlete and lover of fitness. She is fascinated by the complexity of the human body and ways
to optimize health and performance. She holds a doctorate of occupational therapy from VCU, and completed
her 200-hour Vinyasa teacher training with The Yoga Dojo in Richmond, VA in 2020. Kate also holds specialty
certifications in Meridian Yoga Technique, Adaptive Yoga, and Yoga for Parkinson’s. Kate has developed
targeted group and individual yoga practices for athletes pursuing sport-specific goals and has worked
extensively with clients with neurological conditions to help improve quality of life. Kate enjoys combining her
expertise as a therapist with her skills as a yoga instructor to enhance her clients’ strength, stability, flexibility,
and recovery. She believes that yoga is essential for sustainability of movement and that it’s the ultimate
compliment to strength training. Kate uses thoughtful sequences to guide her clients into their full potential
while building a safe space for creativity and humor. Off the mat, Kate enjoys traveling, hiking, creating art,
and spending time with her husband, Mike, and their three daughters, Kara, Hallie, and Mackenzie.
CrossFit Flow is an all-levels Vinyasa flow class. It is composed of a dynamic sequence designed to build heat,
lengthen the muscles, and link movement with breath. Regular practice will help release chronic tightness and
increase range of motion. Modifications and amplifications will be offered throughout class. Expect to leave
feeling energized and challenged, yet also balanced and more relaxed!
For the childcare pass: You must purchase one pass per child and the spots are limited so once purchased, you must reserve a spot on the PushPress app under the class schedule. Please email Steph at email@example.com (or send her a text – 540-290-4467) if you need help reserving spots in either yoga or childcare.
